    Such is the extend of the trauma suffered at the hands of the Nazi Regime, that even after more than seven decades has passed we can never imagine saying what went on during WWII is all “water under the bridge” and “let bygones be bygones”.

    However we feel it is important to understand the D-Day story from the points of view of those who served on both sides. Therefore we invite anyone with any anecdotes or stories detailing the German experience of D-Day and the wider Normandy Campaign to post them here…
