This year D-Day Revisited made its 10th consecutive veterans’ pilgrimage to Normandy alongside 30 men and women who landed here 74 years ago. It seems like only yesterday we were planning our very first trip for the 65th anniversary in 2009 and we’re so grateful for the friendships and memories we’ve made over the past decade.

It was also, without doubt, the worst weather we have ever experienced in Normandy and we spent a fair amount of time handing out ponchos and dodging sudden downpours! Nevertheless, guided by our veteran friends, we kept calm and carried on!
